Im back with a new lipstick and gel eyeliner

Howdi!

I've been really busy lately with my thesis project etc so I'm sorry I'm so crap and writting posts!
Today I went to Mac and I bought Saint Germain lipstick which I love love love. I've been meaning to get this for a while but I always end up getting really practical colours instead of going wild. So... I did go wild today and I finally got it. Its from the Amplified range and it has excellent pigmentation with great pay off. I highly recommend it if anyone is looking for a Barbie pink! Im sitting here trying to figure out what I will wear tomorrow so that I can have shocking pink lips! Maybe a black off the shoulder batwing jumper and skinny jeans?

I'm also searching for a deep red lipstick to wear this fall but not as deep as Darkside which I mentioned in another post. Maybe Captive? I can't really get away with wearing bright red lipstick for some reason. I have a small face and it just seems to make it smaller or something? If any of you guys know a really nice shade in any brand please let me know!

I also picked up another Bobbi Brown long-wear gel eyeliner in Black Ink. This is my favorite gel eyeliner over Mac etc in my opinion. It lasts all day without moving which is perfect for me as I'm in a lab all day and it can be quite warm in there!
Another thing I'm loving at the moment is the cheapest loveliest lip balm ever. Its Blistex Conditioning Lipbalm. I put this on all day long before I put my lipstick on. I also wear it to bed at night so my lips don't dry out.
Seeing as its getting wintery very quickly, I am really enjoying lighting scented candles when I get home and relaxing. I have three scents at the moment that I am using. I have a rose candle from Ikea, and a cotton fresh candle from Mainstays which Ive never heard of before. I am burning a vanilla candle in the en suite. All these candles are in jars which I love. I don't really know why? I just do.
Anywho, This one is weird but this month I'm mad into being healthy and exercising. I'm eating a lot of Nature Valley Crunchy Granola in oats and honey. A lot of people say these bars are terrible for you because they are high in sugars but I don't mind because they literally fill me up until about 1pm!
I got a fringe or bangs. (which is it? I think its different everywhere?) I really liked it when I came out of my hairdressers but now I'm feeling a bit dodge about it. It was windy today and it was impossible to keep tidy. Hmmmm... we'll see. I'm not to sure if I will keep it!?

Great Success!

Hello everyone!

I went on abit of a shopping splurge recently. 

I got those purdy aldo shoes that I mentioned in the post below. I am totally excited to wear these to my friends 21st at the weekend. I was thinking of wearing then will skinny demin jeans, a fitted black blazer and a silk blouse in the same colour, and I would back comb my hair like there's no tomorrow to give it loads of volume. And to top it all off, I would do a dark sultry makeup look, something like a Kim Kardashian look.
(Absolutely love the Kardashians btw!) I also got a new smolder eyeliner (black) from MAC. 

I also bought a mac lipstick Dark side and liner in Vino. This is a dark berry red lipstick which will be perfect for fall. I cant really pull of bright red lipstick at all so I have to stick with the darker ones! I was thinking of this colour when I went into MAC and I asked the assistant what colour would suit me and she said this one before I even mentioned it to her. So it must be okay! It is quite dark and I'll need to be brave to wear it out but we'll see. :)

I got the Urban Decay Naked pallete last week because I am a loser and I didnt even know it was available here yet, so yeah I finally got it! And it is AMAZING! I cannot express how gorgeous the colours are. There are so many combinations you can do with this palette. Its perfect for anyone who likes Kim Kardashians look. Every colour you need for it is in there. AND you get a double ended liner pencil, One end is zero (Black) and the other end is Whiskey (brown), you also get a small bottle of Urban Decays well known primer which will hold your eye makeup in place all day! Seriously recommend this!

Sadly, I have a terrible memory and I forgot to bring my camera charger to University with me this week and my camera died last night so I cant upload any pictures or new videos which is terribly sad for me!

But when I get it at the weekend, I'll update this post with photos etc.

Face: Mac StudioTech in NC27
Blush: Rimmel Pink Rose
Lips: Blistex conditioning lipbalm, GOSH lipstick in Darling, Loreal Glamshine and I cant remember the name of this colour but its a near clear pink lipgloss UPDATE : could possibly be juicy rose glow. :)

Things I really want!

  

Howdi!

I don't know why but lately I just want loads of things? I don't usually want loads of things. I usually just pick one thing and save till I get it. Like my new laptop which I'm getting tomorrow. I'm really excited about it! It will be much easier for me to do this blogging business and I'll be able to start making my videos! Yay!

I seriously want one of these bad boys! But they are really expensive where I live so this will take some serious saving or an unreal Christmas present! We'll see about this one....

Aldo Yerke Shoes!

These are on sale at the moment so I'm definitely getting these tomorrow!

I'm going up to the city where I go to University tomorrow to move my stuff into my new apartment and I'll be picking these up on the way! 

You know when you get some heels that are really inexpensive and they absolutely kill your feet after 10 minutes walking? Well thats why I firmly believe in buying good heels. I have only got a few pairs of heels and thats because I buy expensive ones which I save up for ages to get! So I love them even more!

I have a really big birthmark on my foot so I only really buy shoes that cover the front part of my foot like the ones above.

New Mac stuff. Any Mac stuff really. I'm presuming if you are on this blog you feel the same!

Also, last night I got an email to say that the new Urban Decay Book of Shadows III is available soon! Cannot wait!

Barry M Nail Paints, False lashes and nails!

hello!

So over the past few days I expanded my nail varnish collection again!

I got these Barry M nail polishes in Superdrug!

Superdrug give excellent deals, like, buy 2, get 1 free! I really try to stock up on products when Im in there!

Okay theres loads of them!

I went for some colours that would go with everything! 

Im really looking forward to wearing the deep red in the autumn/fall (!?) what ever you want to call that season!

I wore the light blue colour the other day and my friend said it was very

Jasmine-esque which I thought was really cute because I love Aladin!

Also, lately I've been painting my entire nail white! Not just the tip, like a french manicure but the whole nail. I saw Lady GaGa wearing it and now Im addicted! (I didnt actual see Lady GaGa. It was a picture in a magazine!)

I also went to this new shop in town that is a makeup discount shop!

I got so many products for less than €20!

I got cotton buds, cotton balls, nail polish remover, a new maybelline mousse blush and a rimmel mousse bronzer. I also got new false lashes and false nails!

I am really liking the Rimmel mousse cool bronzer. It is 003 deep glow. You know those days where you really dont want to wear foundation but you dont want to not wear any makeup? Well this is perfect. It gives a 'im just back from a sun holiday look. I have just been applying this with my fingers all over my face

and  making sure not to leave lines especially the jaw line!

The Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush is in 06 Brown. Its a nice near matte blush to wear with the bronzer! and I got it for just €2! The bronzer was €3.

The false lashes and nails that I purchased were pre-glued. I had never used pre-glued lashes or nails before but now that I have I am totally converted!

I was going to my boyfriends 21st Birthday party last night and I didn't have much time as I only finished work at 6 and I had to be there at 7ish! the lashes I used were eylure ready to wear pre glued lashes!

I slightly trimmed the lashes to match my own. The lashes lasted all night and even through sleep (crazy night! Didn't take off my makeup... I know... I know).

But anyway, thats an ultimate test for false lashes because its such a pain going out and having to adjust your lashes all night. And, I put them back on the little plastic holder they came on and they are definitely reusable!

The preglued nails I used were elegent touch in super short. They stayed on all night and even nearly all today! (One fell off in work but I could quickly stick it back on). I had to wear false nails because my nails were abit tattered from work because I use my hands

alot and I wanted them to look good in photos last night!

So I would recommend trying out some pre-glued nails or lashes! They make getting ready ten times less stressful when in a rush!

Im looking to buy a tripod for my camera because everytime I try to make videos I try to balance the camera on boxes all stacked up and its totally useless! So when I do, Ill be youtubing it up!

OH MY GOSH! I was in the shower and I saw this new stuff... my coconut island body scrub, which my mom obviously bought because I didn't. 

Its so so so good. I cant even describe it to you. 

I went to Tesco to check out their other products too. They have vanilla, ginger, raspberry, lemonade and mint. Their might be more also. 

Im pretty sure you can only get it in Tesco or off their website but seriously, go get this stuff!

ALSO, these guys do not test on animals!

New Goodies!

I recently went on a little haul trip in my hometown and I picked up a few things!
I purchased:
Estee Lauder Double Wear in Sand

This stuff is amazing! I've worn it to work over the past few days and it doesnt budge!
It was €28 in sam mc cauleys chemist.
I also tested a clinique supermoisture makeup and it was gorgeous. So I would recommend either!
Ive been applying this foundation with a mac 187.











Loreal Glam Shine lipgloss in Juice: candy juice,
Loreal Galm Shine lipglosses in Natural Glow: juicy rose glow, and two others which i picked the little sticker off without thinkin but one is definitely no. 405!!
I just love these lipglosses and they are pretty cheap too. I got 3 for 2 on these in the superdrug store. I think they are about €10.50 each. I use these most days as I am a hazard and always loose my mac ones!
UPDATE: Sadly guys, this line of glosses is being discontinued! So Im going to head to Superdrug to stock up! Why would they discontinue this lovely stuff! :(

I also purchased a Gosh nailvarnish in Nero (black), which is pretty durable. I think it lasted about two days without chipping (two days off work, if i was in work it would be a whole different story). I think this was €8.50. Black is a great colour because its kinda rocker but also glam. It can be worn with so many other colours!

I got these 3 essences nailvarnishes a while ago  from the Into the Wild collection: 01 desert fox, 02 zulu, 03 heart chakra. Love these! they dont last very long but Im really looking forward to using desert fox and zulu in the Autumn! Essence products are super cheap and they have loads of really handy things like a marker nail varnish remover which is great for fixing mistakes! And Im pretty sure they have a white marker for painting the tips of your nails, which can be really tricky! Ill probably pick these products up and let you know how they go!
